Special Course "Designing the SFC Spirit"

A special course offered only in AY 2019 and AY 2020, “Designing the SFC Spirit," gave students the opportunity to consider together with alumni what makes up the SFC spirit.

From among the tens of thousands of SFC graduates, several diverse individuals were invited as special guest lecturers. These societal leaders who embody the SFC spirit have constantly posed the question, "What is the spirit of this era?” while they themselves continue to evolve.

Through classes ingeniously designed to bring forth a lifelong SFC spirit, the special guest lecturers shared insights into their worlds with students new to SFC (“study abroad students from the future”) while at the same time learning together in the process. The program came to a close after two years while receiving tremendous response. Lectures from the first year can be viewed on SFC-GC.
